Try to break 10 rounds of this 20 minute body weight challenge!

As you know, we love quick and simple workouts.

We also like to integrate athletic movements such as box jumps once or twice a week.

These explosive full body movements are a great way to maintain some level of athleticism.

I personally like to keep myself feeling somewhat athletic in my mid 40′s.

Use it or lose it!

Try this workout and see if you can break 10 rounds.

I did 11 rounds.

Make sure you do each movement right!

BTW,  The Milkman and I are holding our next Kettlebell Certification Course September 18 and 19.

Come learn our Integrated System of Kettlebell Training and how to apply it successfully in your own studio or gym.

The last one sold out, so make sure you reserve you spot.

Checked site after 3 mile run, did 7 rounds, looks simple but found it to be tough.Try again later this week.

What is a good alternative to a pull up if (1) you can’t do a pull-up, (2) you don’t have access to an assisted pull-up machine, (3) you don’t have a pull-up bar?

mike stehle 3:24 pm - 24th August:

@Frank, Nice!

I’m sure the run warmed you up nicely.

@ C Substitute ring rows or body weight rows with a trx or homemade straps if you cannot do pull ups. I’ve even had some of my athletes use a towel or rope tied around a bar or squat rack.

This workout was deceivingly tough, I didn’t have 20 minutes available but managed to get 10 rounds in 11 mintues. I will do it again in a couple of days and see how many I can get in 20mins.

Mike Stehle 11:55 am - 30th August:

Nice work Jonny!

Ron L. 9:00 pm - 6th October:

did today with 10lb vest, trx (slight angle on push ups), 24kg bell and got 8 rounds.

Mike Stehle 6:00 am - 7th October:

Nice work Ron!

What type of vest are you using?

Ron L. 6:48 pm - 17th October:

Hey Mike,
I was using the iron wear 10 pound vest. Hey so you dig the USA? I have the trx and was looking at the USA next. Like that you can climb it. Any problems with it? The gym I work for has had a lot of problems with trx breaking. We’re not big box either, very functional in our training style and people come to work not just look good. Any kettlebell certs you recommend IKFF, RKC etc.?

Mike Stehle 3:24 pm - 18th October:

Hey Ron,

We have not have had any problems with the USA breaking. I think it’s built better then TRX.
