Free Strength Seminar Review (video included)

Thanks to all that came out for the free strength seminar!

It was a complete success.

I won’t go into complete detail.

Those of you who showed up know how much great info you took away from this.

A HUGE thank you to the following people who contributed and helped us out!

  • Chris Reed who came all the way down from Toronto only to turn around and go right back to Canada when he was finished presenting his Olympic Lifting  progressions. Chris was kind enough to give away his Olympic Lifting Manual to all the attendees.
  • Zach Even Esh put together a killer sand bag workout and talked about program design. Zach always does a fantastic job and is an incredible motivator.
  • Pamela MacElree is master of the Kettlebell.  She’s also one of the strongest women that I know. She put together an incredible presentation on the get up and windmill and progressions for each one.
  • Chris Rossomando of Reverb Strength, Long Branch, NJ put together some great info on nutrition and food combining with some great handouts for all attendees.
  • G.R Hoff sent over an amazing and detailed ebook on Tempo running which also included a “How to train for The Warrior Challenge”.
  • Chandler Marchman of “Swole Patrol” fame, sent over an easy to follow power lifting template.  I will email this to all the attendees.
  • Andres Gonzalez did an incredible job helping me keep the Training Room organized during the event.  He was constantly asking me if I needed help.
  • John Gaglione stepped in last minute and did a section on power lifting including the deadlift, squat/front squat, press
  • Paul Reddick, who is always there when I need him was the one who gave me the idea of having this seminar. Not to mention, he bought everyone lunch that day.

BTW, I still haven’t heard from Charles Staley about getting money refunded back from him for not showing up!!!

I check out some of scenes below!

Please comment!

For those who showed up, we asking for a testimonial from you!

Think of this as payment for this great day.

BTW, we will be running our next kettlebell certification course on the weekend of June 11 and 12.

Go here to get the early bird special!

Unfortunately I was not able to be there for tthe entire seminar do due my work schedule, but the experience gained was incredible. Zach introduced the sandbag shouldering exercise which was killer. Chris Reed did an excellent job with the Olympic lift progressions and techniques needed to pull n push more weight. His personality and humor made it that much more enjoyable. The handouts given were an added bonus. And thanks for the lunch from Fins!

What a FANTASTIC DAY! I learned more, and took away more practical training methods on Saturday than multi-day seminars that have cost a LOT of money. Every presenter was incredibly knowledgeable and in a few movements was able to progress every person in attendance, regardless of their strength, flexibility, or fitness level. And the literature provided was great because it can be overwhelming to learn so much in such a short period of time, so it’s a resource we can all use to practice our progressions. The fact that so many amazing people in the fitness community came out to help out Mike and Jim (and all of us) — really shows us what the members of the Training Room already know — Uncle Mike and The Milkman aren’t just top-notch trainers, they are truly special people. Thanks for everything you do for all of us!

I am so thankful for the opportunity as a Training Room member to be a part of the Saturday seminar. Every presenter was dynamic and brought their specialty to the table with enthusiasm and expertise. It was a pleasure to meet and learn from such great people. The entire crew was so inspiring. Pam was well versed in the intricacies of body positioning for specific kb movements and she is one STRONG woman! I was so excited to try out my newly acquired kb movements she taught. Zach helped me in my confidence with sand bag/ odd object lifting (so the next TR workout with odd objects as an option- I’m in)! Christopher Reed had us progressing through the Olympic lifts with ease, and he truly is a dynamic and motivating coach. John Gaglione was an added bonus to the day bringing his power lifting experience to all of us as well as Chris Rossomando who shared some great nutritional insights and the great literature on Tempo Running from G.R. Hoff! You couldn’t find another seminar like this anywhere. Thanks again to all of you and especially Uncle Mike and Jim for giving us an opportunity to be part of this seminar as well as for what you two crazy guys do every day! It has been almost 2 years I have been training with you and I am stronger and more fit now then when I competed in D1 college sports. I have dropped 4 clothing sizes, lost 60lbs, my once high blood pressure is perfect, and my doctor says I have a resting pulse of a runner. Thank you for all your help in working toward my goals. To health, fitness and BRINGIN IT!

John 10:17 pm - 27th April:

Uncle Mike,

You are a class act and you put together an incredible event! I was glad I was able to help out in a pinch. The information and people who were presenting were top notch! I am looking forward to more of these gatherings in the future!

Uncle Mike & The AWESOME Training Room Wrecking Crew,

Thank you so much for hosting such an amazing event. I am so honored to have had the opportunity to have come down and share with all of you and be counted an equal among a panel of Strength Coaches whom I respect and admire so deeply myself.

That respect starts with Uncle Mike; I tip my hat to him for not only doing right by all of you but, as your comments above suggest, but for staying true to his character and exceeding your expectations and bringing you only the best and refusing to let the B.S. of C.S. hold him down!

To all in attendence, I LOVE you guys and the atmosphere you create! A house is merely a building it takes people to make a home – and you guys should count yourselves fortunate as this place seems to only attract the BEST of type people (again a refelction of Uncle Mike and the Milkman).

It was a REAL pleasure to meet, hang out, laugh with and coach each of you. Know 2 things; you ALWAYS have a HOME to train at when you visit Toronto and if I can help in anyway – DO NOT hesitate to contact me.

Pam, Zach, John, Chris – you continue to set the bar a give me a standard to aspire to achieve and maintain. Your passion for coaching and improving the lives of those around you is so easily seen when you coach.

My sincere thanks to all in attendance once again and I look forward to seeing you in the future; STRONGER in mind, body and spirit!

Yours in Health & Strength,

~ Christopher
