Try a little High Octane Cardio or HOC. This will get you into fighting shape without boring the hell out of you. I’m not the biggest fan of running, but I love ballistic movements and jumping rope for building up work capacity.

Here’s a nice little program that involves one kettlebell, one D-ball, a set of rings and a jump rope.

  • Kettlebell DARC swings 20
  • Jump rope 2 minutes
  • Kettlebell jerks 10r/10l
  • Jump rope 2 minutes
  • Slam ball 20
  • Jump rope 2 minutes
  • Jumpng pull ups 20
  • Jump rope 2 minutes

Rest 1 minute bewteen rounds.  Complete 3-5 rounds depending on your level of fitness.  You can also scale the jump rope down to 1:30 or 1 minute.

Note: Each round took about 11 minutes to complete.
