Kettlebell Training at the Jersey Shore: 8 minute Conditioning Couplets

What a great morning!

Great sunrise this morning as I drove over the Belmar Bridge.

It’s one of those mornings when you get up and can’t wait to get outside and train.

The Court Yard is Calling!!

It looks like “Happy Hour Friday” was reinstated last night.

Today is a classic conditioning workout. You will need this one to work off the happy hour.

8 minute conditioning couplets:

15 seconds work/15 seconds rest for 8 minutes at each station.

  • Kettlebell high pulls/kettlebell thusters
  • Slam ball or band swimmers/Rower, bike or jump rope
  • Kettlebell swings/burpees

Alternate between each movement at each station for 8 minutes.

Take one minute rest between each 8 minute couplet.

    This definitely took care of Friday happy hour! It even cleared the way for Saturday afternoon refreshments. Great workout and with a crowd of 30+, the Milkman demonstrated excellent crowd control.
