6 Minute Strength Sets for Thursday!

We have a great Strength Set that incorporates all the major muscles groups and a finisher at the end to leave you feeling just right!

We hope you have been able to take classes outside with us in the courtyards or are still following along with our videos each day!

There are some new faces so if you are a regular and you see someone new, make them feel welcome!  Remember YOUR first day at the Training Room!  Do you remember the workout?  Have a good story?  We would love to hear about it!

Here’s Thursday’s Strength Workout:

6 Minute Strength Set

You will rest 1 minute between Sets and complete 4 total rounds!

  1. Cardio Choice (run, JR, JJ, high knees, skaters, quick feet, kick but, rope flow) – 1 Minute
  2. Alternate Back Lunge – 1 Minute
  3. Push-up Plank – 1 Minute
  4. Marching hip bridge, hamstring curls, single leg static hip bridge – 1 Minute (30s/30s)
  5. Alternate Ring Rows or 1 arm rows – 1 Minute (30s/30s)
  6. Get Ups, windmills, side plank – 1 Minute (30s/30s)

Finisher Options:

  •  Swings or High step-ups (10, 9, 8, 7…)
  • Burpees, Squat Thrusts or Mountain climbers (2, 4, 6, 8, 10…)

-OR-

  • Cleans (10, 9, 8, 7…)
  • Jerks or Push Press (1, 2, 3, 4, 5…)
