Alternating Dynamic and Static Strength

Tuesday is a strength day, and we will be alternating between dynamic and static strength.

This full body strength circuit will consist of 6 stations.

The work interval will be thiry five seconds with a 25 second rest interval.

Here’s the strength circuit…

  • Upper body pull (ring row, pull ups, kettlebell or dumbbell rows)
  • Squat choice (goblet, body weight, split squat or lunge)
  • Ab choice
  • Upper body push (over head press, see saw press, push ups)
  • Low back (supermans, reverse hypers, bord dogs, hip bridge)
  • Easy cardio

On rounds 1 and 3 we will move at full range of motion at each station.

Round 2 and 4 will be static holds at each station.

We will finish up with the following…

Finisher:

30 seconds easy/30 seconds sprint x 5

Choice of…

  • Any Cardio item
  • kettlebell sport
  • Wall ball
  • Burpees
  • Pegs
