Alternating Dynamic and Static Strength
Tuesday is a strength day, and we will be alternating between dynamic and static strength.
This full body strength circuit will consist of 6 stations.
The work interval will be thiry five seconds with a 25 second rest interval.
Here’s the strength circuit…
- Upper body pull (ring row, pull ups, kettlebell or dumbbell rows)
- Squat choice (goblet, body weight, split squat or lunge)
- Ab choice
- Upper body push (over head press, see saw press, push ups)
- Low back (supermans, reverse hypers, bord dogs, hip bridge)
- Easy cardio
On rounds 1 and 3 we will move at full range of motion at each station.
Round 2 and 4 will be static holds at each station.
We will finish up with the following…
Finisher:
30 seconds easy/30 seconds sprint x 5
Choice of…
- Any Cardio item
- kettlebell sport
- Wall ball
- Burpees
- Pegs
