Don’t Lose Your Ability to Be Explosive!
Thursday is a conditioning focus and a great day to be explosive and fast!
Therefore, we will focus our attention on quicker movements with some focus on body weight with other modalities put into the mix.
Weather you realize it or not, The Training Room has been programming explosive movements into our workouts forever.
As we age, we start to lose the ability to be explosive and act/move quickly which is crucial to our lives activities and the things we might enjoy.
Movements such as medicine ball slams, sledge hammer work, kettlebell swings, quick foot and agility movements, kettlebell or dumbbell push presses or ANY kind of jumping can be considered explosive movements.
The bottom line is to use it of lose it!
Remember, any movement can be modifed to be more difficult or easier if needed.
Here’s the correct way to slam a medicine ball!
