Effective Strength Supersets

If you haven’t noticed, we love strength supersets at The Training Room!

Supersets are an extremely effective way to strength train, especially when you want to get a lot of quality work done in a certain amount of time.

Pairing up and alternating between 2 movements of different muscle groups allow for proper recovery while keeping yourself moving.

Movements are usually paired up in a push-pull or upper body-lower body sequence.

Here’s what we’ve got for you on Wednesday…

30/30 x 10 sets of each superset

Superset 1

  • Goblet squat
  • pull-up or ring row;

Superset 2

  • Supermans or hinges/back extensions
  • push-ups

Finish up with this mini circuit…

30/20 x 4 rounds of

  • Tricep extensions
  • Ab choice
  • Bicep curls
  • Cardio choice
