Essential Strength with Active Rest

We’ll be kicking off another great week of training with some essential strength inlcuding active rest between each set.

Staying active between sets will give you the opportunity to work on things you may want or need.

Perhaps you would like to try out a new skill such as mace swings (a great choice for active rest as well as shoulder mobility)

Here are a few options for active rest…

Here’s your strength circuit for Monday:

1 minute of work with a minute of active rest x 5 rounds (15 sets total)

  • Swing, clean, deadlift choice or snatch r/l
  • Single or double kettlebell or dumbbell push press, see saw press, floor press or push up
  • Squat choice (double front squat, goblet squat, split squat, lunge choice) or Kettlebell long cycle
