The Training Room has you covered.
This will be the perfect way to top off your week of training and also a great tune-up for next weeks Turkey Day Relay!
Friday is officially a cardio day, but you will have the option of doing a hybrid of strength and conditioning or just strength if your body is craving either one.
The intervals will be the same for ALL of the options.
1 minute of work with a 1 minute ACTIVE rest.
Some active rest options, but no limited to…
- Ab work
- Foam rolling
- Mobility work
- Bulgarian bag
- Walking (get those steps in)
- Rope flow
- Dance moves
- Light step ups
- Bi’s and Tri’s (gun show)
We will complete 15 sets total of 1 minute work/1 minute rest intervals.
Cardio Only Option
Pick from 3 cardio options and do 5 sets of 1 minute work/1 minute ACTIVE rest on each of those.
Here are some options to choose from:
- Jump rope
- Step ups
- Jumping jacks
- Sled push
If you want a strength and conditioning combination…
Mix in some kettlebell sport with some of the cardio listed above.
Pick 1 or 2 kettlebell sport items with 1 or 2 cardio items.
- Long cycle
Just strength (1 minute work/1 minute active rest for 5 rounds)
Throw in some ab work during you 1 minute recovery.
- Split squat (R/L)
- Upper body push (R/L)
- Upper body pull (R/L)
