Today we will be hitting the basics.
Warm up with a kettlebell warm up…
Today’s basic strength session will consist of 5 sets.
Use your first 2 sets to warm up using moderate weight.
Then ramp up on the last 3 rounds and try to PR!
Rep scheme will look something like this:
Sets
- 10 reps
- 8 reps
- 5 reps
- 5 reps
- 3-5 reps
You can circuit through the movements or complete all sets of one movement before moving on to the next.
- Floor press ( 1 or 2 handed)
- Front squat ( 1 or 2 bells)
- Pull-ups
- KB deads (5×10 w/ moderate weight or heavy 10,8, 3×5)
- Ab choice
Finisher…Partner 1/2 mile heavy sandbag carry AFAP.
