Good morning friends!
Hope the week is going well for you.
It looks the rain has stopped, so we’ll be taking it outdoors.
Let’s talk a little bit about recovery time in your training.
Do you think you are allow your body to recover sufficiently?
We get a lot of questions about recovery time in our training system.
The Milkman and I like a 2 day on and 1 day off schedule. The way our training schedule is layed out, this would give you two strength days and two conditioning days if you choose a Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri schedule.
If you feel you can squeeze one more light training day in there then do it.
Just remember to be smart and don’t think you have to beat yourself up every time you train.
Also, take the time to foam roll and stretch after your session!!
It’s also not a bad idea to foam roll during your training session.
Don’t just bolt out to your car after your training session!
We see this too often.
The most important thing is to listen to your body. If you are not feeling the magic, then you should rest.
Today is challenge day!
Advanced individuals will complete all 100 reps on each movement before going on to the next one.
You can also circuit through all the movements until all reps are complete.
Do this for time, but don’t rush through the movement!!
- 100 snatches
- 100 jerks/push-press
- 100 yrds walk lunge w/or without weight
- 100 power wheel walk/crawl/100 sit-ups
