Hey Training Room family!

If you’ve been with us for an extended period of time, you have noticed that most of our conditioning sessions are done with intervals.

There are several good reasons why we train in this manner.

Here are just a few!

  • High intensity intervals (HIIT) boost your body’s fat burning capabilities more so then slow long distance training.
  • According to the American College of Sports Medicine,2 HIIT workouts tend to burn anywhere from 6-15 percent more calories compared to other workouts, thanks to the calories you burn after you exercise.
  • HIIT will allow you to better maintain your lean muscle more so then slow, steady state Aerobic training such as long distance running.
  • In addition to increased fat burning and more muscle preserved, HIIT stimulates production of your human growth hormone (HGH) by up to 450 percent during the 24 hours after you finish your workout. This is great news since HGH is not only responsible for increased caloric burn but also slows down the aging process, making you younger both inside and out!
  • HIIT is more efficient. We can get the job done in 15-20 minutes with greater health benefit.

With that said, here’s your interval session for Wednesday!
