Happy Friday!
Today’s workout goes on my list of top favorites.
There are a few things that we look for in a quality training session…
- Simple multi-joint/compound movements (good bang for your buck movements)
- Time efficiency (ability to get lots of work done in a short period of time)
- Ability to easily measure progression
- Easily adaptable to all levels of fitness
There are more, but there are 4 for you.
Today’s workout has all four of these components.
Warm up with two round kettlebell warm up.
Complete 10 minutes of the following two couplets.
Try to perform as many ladders as you can in the 10 minute time period alternating between the couplets.
Couplet 1: Do as many ladders from 1-5 as you can alternating between each movement. When you get to 5, go back and repeat the ladder starting from 1 again.
- Double kettlebell front squats
- Pull ups/ assisted pull ups or ring rows (2-10)
Couplet 2:
- Double kettlebell or heavy single kettlebell swings (2-10 on the swings)
- Double kettlebell press
Enjoy the day!
I will post some on video on this later.
