Hey Training Room family!

Tomorrow is our in house kettlebell sport comp at 10:15 so there will be no yoga Jeff!

Tomorrow is also a strength day and here’s what we’ve got for you…

It’s “Pick your poison Kettlebell and Body Weight Strength”

We will set the timer for 30 minutes and let you pick any kettlebell grinding or ballistic movement you want.

We will give you a list of the basics, but if you want to get more creative that’s up to you.

Just keep it safe!

We will go around the room and each person will select the movement they want and will perform with the group for 30 seconds.

We will give you 20 seconds rest before the next person goes.

You also have the choice of different combinations such as clean and press, clean/squat

Body Weight Movements

  • air squats (any variation)
  • split squats
  • pistols
  • push ups (any type)
  • body weight row
  • pull-ups
  • any plank variation
  • Supermans
  • Bird dogs
  • hip bridges (single or double leg)
  • dead bugs

Basic kettlebell Grinds

  • Goblet squats
  • split squat
  • single leg deadlift
  • overhead press or any variation of
  • floor press
  • one arm row
  • get ups, half get ups
  • Windmills
  • Any combination such as clean and press

Kettlebell Ballistics

  • Swings
  • push press
  • jerk
  • snatch
  • Clean
  • any combo such as clean and jerks
