Strength Couplets for the WIN!
Tuesday is a strength day at The Training Room and we have a great and very efficient strength session lined up for you (strength couplets are the best).
IN case you didn’t know, we love these!
Strength couplets are The Training Room’s favorite way of getting a ton of work done in a short amount of time.
Make sure to move with a purpose (don’t flail) and DO NOT go to complete muscle failure. Keep a few reps left in the tank. This is one reason we keep the reps low.
We will be doing reps of 1-5 or 2-1 on 2 different couplets
- Clean and press Right/Left
- Pull ups or rows (kettlebell, dumbbell or body weight)
- Goblet squats
- Ab choices (pick something that will challenge you)
Finisher Couplet (2-10 and 10-2 one time thought)
- Cardio choice
- burpees or squat thrusts
