Monday Strength Mash-UP

The Monday strength mash-up will be a nice mix of both strength and cardio.

We’ve noticed that many of you have been enjoying the mix.

This is one that you have not seen yet.

FYI, this Wednesday will be the last day over at the Manasquan location.

We’re excited for some positive changes!

Mike and Jim wil be able to put ALL of their energy into the 1 location.

We ALSO will be making some changes to the Avon gym and the schedule starting in May.

Adding classes in Avon

  • 4 PM class will be Monday through Thursday.
  • 6:30 PM class will be Monday through Thursday.

Here’s what your Monday at The Training Room will look like.

Part 1

Start out with 2 minutes of your choice of cardio…

This can be an of the following…

  • Bike
  • Row
  • Ski
  • Jump rope
  • Squat thrusts
  • Run
  • Sled
  • Step ups

Rest for 30 seconds.

Part 2

Now get as far as you can in 2 minutes doing this circuit…

  1. 10 swings
  2. 10 push-ups
  3. 10 squats
  4. 10 Kettlebell or dumbbell rows
  5. 10 abs 

Rest 30 seconds…

Go back to cardio choice for 2 minutes.

Pick up where you left off on the 2 minute circuit.

For example, if you finished your squats, you will pick back up with rows.

We will do 6 sets of part 1 and 6 sets of part 2 alternating between them.
