Strength Supersets on the Heavy Side
Wednesday is a strength focus at The Training Room and what better day for some strength supersets.
Maybe you’ve been holding out and not challenging your musculoskeletal system as much as you probably can.
In other words, this would be a good day to pick up a little more weight then what you’ve been using.
Remember…
Small gradual progressions are the best way to get stronger.
So, don’t bite off more then you can chew when it comes to increasing your weight on a movement.
Let’s go!!
Here are some examples of some of the movements that can be used in these push/pull supersets.
Superset 1 (35/25 x 5 rounds)
- Kettlebell deadlift or heavier swing
- Dumbbell chest press
Superset 2 (35/25 x 5 rounds)
- Kettlebell row
- Slant board squats
Finisher Circuit (30/20 x 4 rounds)
- Biceps
- Cardio choice
- Triceps
- Ab choice
