Good Morning!

It’s been a great week of training with some challenging workouts.

Hopefully we’ll be able to stay outdoors for the remainder of the day.

We’ve got some fun strength challenges for you that require the outdoors.

Today is a great day to benchmark yourself.

It will be important for you to record your numbers below so you can reference them later and measure your progression.

This challenge day is designed for anyone.  We will give you several progressions of each challenge.

Warm up: 5 minutes of joint mobility, Two round kettlebell warm up.

Here are your challenges:

  1. 3 minute rope or modified rope climbs/peg board climbs. Go up and down the rope/peg board as many times as you can in 3 minutes.  If you are using the peg board, you will hit each hole on the way up and down (do not skip holes)
  2. Max push up plank hold (for time) or Power wheel walk (for distance). Hold the plank in the push up position for as long as you can or Power wheel as far as you can. Once you’re body hits the ground, you’re done.
  3. Farmer Walk for distance. Advanced men can use 24’s and advanced women can use 16’s. Start walking around the building and keep track of how far you can go without putting the bells down.
  4. Choice of 100 yard Prowler push for time, 50 yard tire flip for time or 3 minute max reps for double kettlebell clean and press. We will go in the lane of pain for the Prowler and tire flip. Advanced men can use 24’s and advanced women can use 16’s for the clean and press.

Take about 5 minutes rest between each challenge.
