I think this was a first.

As far as I know, this was a first. We don’t have too many days like this in October, so I just had to take advantage of this incredible day.

 I haven’t seen any other paddle surf/kettlebell workouts.  The entire workout took about 20 minutes.  The combination of kettlebell swings, running thought the surf, and paddling had my heart jumping pretty good.

Here’s what I did:

  • 20 kettlebell swings
  • Paddle 100 yards out and back in

For 5 rounds.

I had to get past the sandbar.  It was very shallow and my board kept hitting bottom. I caught a few small waves in, but again, the sandbsar got in the way.
