The Long Haul!
We’re in it for the long haul at The Training Room on Monday!
You definately don’t want to miss out on these days.
Especially if you are competing in the ROW for HOPE on May 13.
Here are some scenes from last years ROW for HOPE event which benefits JAG Fund for brain cancer research.
Even if you’re not competing, these long cardio days are crucial for building up our cardiac output.
Monday’s session will be a team or solo 10,000 meter row, bike (20,000) or ski erg.
This would be a great day to get together with some of your teammates and get after it.
OR…
Test your physical and mental endurance with a solo 10,000 meter row, bike or ski.
Going SOLO…
If going solo, you will set your monitor for 10,000 meters and GO!
The monitor will count down from 10,000 to zero.
Team
You can do your row, bike or ski with a team of 2 or 3 people.
Come up with a plan with your teammates…
Here are a few examples you can use:
- 2 person teams row 2 minute intervals (2 minutes work/2 minutes rest)
- 3 person teams row 1 minute intervals (1 minute work/2 minutes rest)
Set up you monitor for 10,000 meters and let it rip!
