Triathlon & Conditioning Workout

Saturday is our Training Room Triathlon in Avon and a Classic Conditioning circuit at 7:30am in Manasquan.

The Triathlon in Avon kicks off at 7:16am… heats start every 14 minutes!  We can’t wait to see how many calories each team and solo participant can achieve in the 12 minutes sets!

Manasquan’s Conditioning Workout:  Each exercise is stationary and the intervals ladder down as the intensity ramps up!

Classic Conditioning

Intervals for 4 Rounds: 30/25, 30/20, 25/15, 20/10×2

  1. Drop squats
  2. Double knee tucks or 1/2 burpees
  3. High pulls or jump pulls
  4. JR or JJs
  5. Skaters
  6. Squat thrust or slam ball
  7. Russian twist or Bulgarian bag or mace swings
  8. Sprint in Place

TR HOME VIDEO OPTION:

1 Minute Conditioning Sets!

Options are endless…   bodyweight, bells, bands, sliders, towels, rings or medicine balls….

Keep it simple, have some fun and get in a good sweat!

  • 30 sec cardio / 30 sec bodyweight squats
  • 15 sec rest
  • 30 sec cardio / 30 sec mountain climbers
  • 15 sec rest
  • 30 sec cardio / 30 sec swings or broad jumps
  • 15 sec rest
  • 30 sec cardio / 30 sec slam ball or towel whip
  • 15 sec rest
  • 30 sec cardio / 30 sec high pull or jump pulls

Rest 1 Minutes between rounds.  Repeat for a total of 5 rounds.
