Twenty Plus Ten Strength and Conditioning

Tuesday is a Strength focus at The Training Room and we’ve got a nice combination of strength with a little conditioning at the end with the twenty plus ten.

Two separate AMRAPS.

The first one and strength based and the second one is a finisher.

First, we’ll do this 20 minute strength AMRAP which is a mix of weights and body weight movements.

Here’s what it looks like.

Do this for 20 minutes…

  • 10 hinge choice (swing, deadlift choice, clean snatch or body weight hinge)
  • 10 press choice (weighted or body weight)
  • 10 squat choice
  • 10 pull choice
  • 10 ab choice
  • 10 calories (bike, row or ski)

Rest for 2 minutes and then we’ll do 10 minutes of conditioning…

  • 5 burpee or squat thust
  • 10 high pulls
  • 15 Mountain climbers
  • 20 body weight squats
  • 25 jumping jacks, 50 revolutions jump rope or 10 calories
