Power Rope Chops

This 1 1/2" rope is an excellent training tool and is a great complement to a group circuit.  The rope chop can be executed by doing quick chopping motions with the elbows slightly bent.  In addition, an alternate arm chop can be executed as well.  This  drill can be very deceiving when done at high intensity, it is also couples very well with the kettlebell swing or snatch working posterior chain and anterior chain musculature.  Try some Tabata intervals with these exercises and you will see what I’m talking about.
