Weighted or Body Weight Complex

Tuesday will be an awesome weighted or body weight complex.

Training Room family…

Have you had the chance to pick up equipment from us (let us know)?

There have been several requests for cardio equipment such as rowers, bikes and ski ergs, but we feel this is too much for us to manage at the time.

We wish we could accomodate everyone but we need to keep it simple.

Thank you for understanding and we will continue to work hard to bring you the best training!

Let us know if you need anything else and we can deliver it to you.

Some points on Tuesday’s session

Tuesdays weighted or body weight strength and conditioning complex can be adusted to all levels of fitness and ability.

Pick movements that suit you the best and remember not to force any movements that you DO NOT feel comfortable doing.

Choose a kettlebell, dumbbell or even body weight movements (you can mix and match)

Make sure to push yourself outside your comfort zone without compromising form on ANY of the movements.

Pretend we are watching!

Here’s what we’ve got…

Stay on one side for the 5 minute complex, repeat on the other side, then rest for 1 minute.

Completing both right and left side is considered 1 round.

DO 5 rounds of this.
  • Cleans, single leg deadlift or body weight hinge (here’s a good video to watch)
  • Press or single arm elevated push up
  • Split squat (with or without weight), drop-ins, sliding reverse lunge (sun dial)
  • Single are row
  • Abs, walklouts, shoulder taps, crawl around your kettlebell

Do both sides, rest for a minute and then repeat for 5 total rounds.

Let’s go!

After that, if you have the time…

Here’s a finisher:

Ladder up on one and ladder down on the other…

Alternate between the 2.

  • Swings or step ups 20-2
  • Burpees or squat thrusts 1-10 or Jump rope 10-100 (by 10’s)

Let’s have some comment love!
