What exactly does this mean?

Well…

First all, it means you need to SHOW UP for class and work on something new that stimulates you, or maybe some things you would like to improve on.

Isn’t this why you come to see us?

Tell us when you are struggling with an exercise, or maybe have a nagging injury that needs to be addresed,

The Training Room will be hosting a seminar at the Manasquan location on January 19 (it’s a Wednesday) at 6:45 PM.

We will be utilizing JD’s unique services as part of our upcoming fitness challenge. Atlantic Exercise Physiology is the very first facility of it’s kind in the state of New Jersey.

When you register for this challenge, you will make your appointment with JD and recieve the following tests…

  • Medical Body Composition Analysis on the SECA 544 (read more)
  • Resting Metabolic Rate Test (Read More)
  • Pumonary Function Test (Read More)
  • Member cost of the 12 week program with pre and post challenge testing will be $150.

You DO NOT want to miss this one.

Now for Thursday’s Alternate strength…

We will have 2 circuits set up,

You will work for 40 seconds and rest for 20.

Complete circuit A, then go to circuit B…

Complete B and then rest for 1:20.

You will alternate between Circuit A and B for a total of 6 rounds (3 times each circuit)

Circuit A (Strength with 1 or 2 kettlebells or dumbbells)
Circuit B (conditioning with minimal equipment)
  • Skaters or side shuffles/agilities
  • Crawls or Mountain climb (the sled could work here too)
  • Jump rope/jacks/run options (low impact options will be available)
  • Med ball twist or Bulgarian bag swing
